I have a dilemma
Munchkin Booty is out.
Now personally, I was a bit disappointed with Munchkin Impossible and didn't think it held itself as well as Star Munchkin and (my personal favorite) Munchkin Fu did.
Despite having largely the same basic mechanics, each version of Munchkin has its' own style and special rules.
For some examples in Star Munchkin, any laser you find can be combined with another (or ten others if you have them) into a complex item, for example. (Big and/or complex items are such that you can only use one, unless you have something that allows for more.)
In Munchkin Fu, any 'hong kong' item or creature can be added to a fight (for or against I believe) when you're being attacked by a Hong Kong creature.
Of course a lot of the draw is also how much you like the theme, but Super Munchkin and Munchkin Impossible just didn't grab me at all. The original, on the other hand, had some funny bits (the Duck of Doom is pretty classic) but WAY too few of them.
If I was going to play the original, I'd want a card shuffler so I could play with a bunch of expansions easier.
Anyway, I definately want Munchkin Booty, but obviously I can't decide if it'll be worth it.
ARRRR!
Opinions welcome.

Clear to me
I don't see the dilemma. You definitely want it. So eventually you are going to acquire it. Either trade for it (perhaps through BGG) or else man up and buy it.
Myself, I've never played Munchkin and probably never will. If you offer me a game, I'll probably run to the furthest corner of the earth. Hang on ...
Mainly the dilemma is that
Mainly the dilemma is that even if I buy it, there's no guarantee I'll want to play it, or that I won't have wasted my money since noone will play it anyway.
I gave up on the idea. All I'm buying right now for myself is Alhamba and Carcassonne related, unless I finally get playtime in on Robo Rally eventually.
And Puerto Rico for my brother in law.
