Gen Con 2009 Day 5

Sunday, August 16th
The final day of the con was upon us and I only had a short day lined up. After checking out of the hotel, we went to the game library in room 500 and checked out a copy of Power Grid. Curt finally got to get a play in of this, despite us passing it up for free in the Rio room every other day. The Rio room was closed down for today, so we had to pay. I probably had the most experience with this game and leveraged it for an easy victory. The game is still one of my favorites, and its an easy rating of "Buy".
I now had enough time to do a little general wandering in the exhibit hall to see if there were any deals for the last day. Being as it was still only noon, I didn't find anything to catch my eye, so ended up bringing home only the two previous purchases from the trip, BSG: Pegasus, and Crunch.
The trip home was uneventful until we arrived at our door and realized that our house key was in Lexington, KY at the car repair place. Fortunately, we could wake up some family in town and stay there until we could get a lock smith to let us in.
It was a great time again, and I already look forward to doing it again next year.

Your luck
Can you and Lisa's luck get any worse!? Just look forward to the day when all this mess is behind you and how it probably won't happen at next year's GenCon.
