Knizia RPG (part 2)

I was in the shower today when I realized that this game will not be fun with fewer than 4 players.
There is too much of a likelihood of only drawing "good" tiles and having the quests be too easy. I will have to think about a solution.
On the plus side I realized that it might work with 5 players. I would have to allow some of the classes to be taken by multiple players, so would need a second set of class cards, but that's no biggie.
I'm guessing that the solution to the first problem will be to have players place two tiles/turn instead of one. That way in 2 and 3 player games the board will change a little more between turns, and you won't find it as easy to keep your Quests small and simple. But, that might be a problem in 4/5 player games where the board would change so much that you can't plan at all.
So maybe the rule should be to draw 1 tile/turn in a 4/5 player game, but 2 tiles/turn in a 2/3 player game.
And I still have to see about doubling up on classes. Would the players that have the same class be at a disadvantage? A slight one I suppose, as there would be in (mid or late game) two players wanting to place tiles in the same skill rows/columns. Might have to playtest that one a little.
