The Rochester Gamers Community hosted the 2nd Quarter Game Day and Picnic at the West Silver Lake picnic shelter on Saturday, June 13. Including staffers, a total of about 50 people enjoyed beautiful weather, good friends, good food, and great gaming! Gamers from as far away as the Twin Cities, Stewartville, Austin and LaCrosse made the trek to Rochester to attend.
In addition to a great time, a total of 37 lbs. of food were donated to the Channel One Food Shelf. This is one way the RGC gives back to the community, and we hope to continue our efforts to support local charities through our gaming events.
Thanks to everyone who helped make the picnic a success this year!
This year the RGC ran a flea market, which helped raise some funds for the group as well as giving members a way to clean out their gaming closet. Thanks to Kath for leading and running this!

The Gamers Reunion provided some great prizes that were given away to players. Thanks to Jeff and Bob for their generosity! If you haven't pre-registered for the Gamers Reunion, by all means do it now!

Why does Michael look like he is winning? BTW, don't miss JordalCon next month in Austin!

Please note that the brown bottles contained ROOT beer.

What would Wade do? Move to San Diego, apparently!

Kath GM'd Heroscape using Transformers figures. Clever!

Hardworking Kate dishes up some yummy BBQ beef for a hungry gamer! Profits from the food sales at the picnic help the RGC to promote and sponsor gaming events in the Rochester area.

Eric and Chuck's Germans attempt to force the Meuse River in 1940 while Mike's French gallantly hold them off.
