Now Accepting Volunteers!

The Games Day is a success in no small part to the individuals who volunteer to run games. Because all the work is done on a volunteer basis, we can keep our costs down and ensure that it remains a free day of gaming for all.

We are now accepting volunteers to run games. Volunteers can run any game they like. Board, card, miniature, and role playing games are all welcome. The only requirement is that the game be available to new and inexperienced players. To put it simply, be ready to teach the game.

If you would like to run a game, please email Cyrus Kirby with the following information.

  • Your name
  • Name of the game
  • Type of game (card, board, miniature, role playing, etc.)
  • Number of players
  • Time you would like to run the game (event starts at 12 PM and ends at 10 PM)

Note that the average length of game play will be considered what is noted on geekdo.com. If you disagree with the suggested game length, please note that in your email.

There are no limits to the number of games you can run, but we do have limited table space. Scheduling all games will be done on a first come, first serve basis, but enormous effort will be done to ensure that all the games get table time. A games day event volunteer will work with you closely to ensure that any and all of your questions are answered and to work through any possible scheduling conflicts.

Fun For a Cause!

The 4th Quarter Games Day will be collecting donations for the Toys for Tots Foundation. With the Holidays right around the corner, your donated new, unwrapped toys will be distributed to needy children in the Rochester community. A donation box will be available at the 4th Quarter Games Day event to collect your generous donations.

Special Guest!

RGC is again proud to welcome Fantasy Flight Games at this year's 4th Quarter Games Day. Fantasy Flight Games will be demoing their games and providing information about their Event Center. Make sure to take advantage of this opportunity to play games with one of the best game publishers in the business. The games to be demoed will be listed in the game schedule as soon as the information is available. Until then, check back and check back often.
